Job Search Boot Camp is an 8-week intensive workshop designed to help participants obtain employment through networking, taking place on Mondays, May 2, 9, 16, 23 and June 6, 13, 20*, 27 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Registration begins April 5 for Port Washington and Town of North Hemstead Residents. Registration for all others begins April 19.
Participants will be:
Motivated to conduct an effective job search
Instructed on using LinkedIn and other forms of social media
Guided towards time management and developing job objectives
Assisted with their personal brand and elevator pitch to build their profile
Given resume and cover letter advice
Advised about building an effective network to find a job in today’s marketplace

Presented by Maria Themistocleous-Frey, President and Founder of Executive Consultants of New York, Corp. and the ECNY Foundation, a non-profit corporation that specializes in career coaching and professional development.. *This is an online class taking place on Zoom except Week 7 (June 20), which is an in-person networking event at the Port Washington Public Library. One registered, participants will receive the Zoom info prior to the start of the first class.
